FREE SHEEPDOG!!!!

I have a 5 year old male sheepdog who we rescued last year from a shelter. He was in very bad condition at the time. Since then, he is back to full health and is a loving great dog! We have recently moved to a small apartment in VA Beach (another state) with our two small kids and our dog. He is a great loyal dog but he needs a yard! He is fixed, I hate to see him go but he really needs a place to run!

Hi, we are in the process of looking for another sheepdog. Our 12year old sheepdog just passed away in June. He was a rescue, and we are very passionate about rescuing another dog. We have fenced yard, and a 2year old daughter who would love a playmate. We would love to be considered as a great home for your boy. The only problem is we are in Canada, so I am not sure how that works but thought we would inquire anyway. Thank you, robin
Id love a play pal for bloo but i havent got the time or effort for two of them. :P
Hope you find a home for him soon x
I would love to have him, but we are so far away.

Try NE OES Rescue. They do a great job of screening the adopters, so you know he will go to a great home.
And thank you fo putting his needs first.
You should try to contact an Old English Sheepdog rescue if you can. As mentioned, they do this all the time, screening the dogs and screening the humans to find a perfect fit between them. Your sheepie has already been in at least 2, now going to be 3 different homes... this time, for the sake of your dog, please try, if you can, to work with OES Rescue.

You can contact New England Old English Sheepdog Rescue via http://www.neoesr.org

NEOESR is the largest OES rescue and they work with and have contacts all over the place.

I wish you good luck and THANK YOU FOR CARING SO MUCH!
Yes, plese contact the OES rescue down in Virginia. I think that's where you are from. They can help you and arrange for transport and get your baby into a good home. Please call them for help.
Go through the proper breed rescue channels rather then trying to place the OES yourself. If you DO care then plenty of info here on local OES rescue and rehoming organisations.

So sad you cant keep him but please dont just rely on the internet or even money back as far as seeking the appropriate home and a good home for his furever home. DO contact in your state the local breed rescue, I am sure if you post the area you are in links will go up as far as the nearest to assit you all. :ghug:
