Has anyone heard of or used a service called dogvacay.com? I was toying with the idea of going to my sisters for Christmas and need someone in the area to take care of Oliver. My good friend would look in on him and feed him only, but will not take him to her house. She thinks he's too big for her house Anyway, I don't want him left alone 24/7 in the house, especially at night. Before he had Abbey, who I lost this past June to Cancer. (2 dogs to cancer in just less than a year ) I would NEVER leave my Oliver with just anyone because I love him so much. He's my furkid Boarding facilities are way too expensive and I don't want him caged. I have checked out some of these places and of course nobody is on site at night. To me that is very scarey!!!! Big deal, they have alarm systems. Who's going to pull the alarm if ther is fire? The Schnauzer in the corner cage? Ok, I'm anal BUT Oliver is my boy. It isn't a problem for me not to go. (my dogs have never been welcome at my sisters) Just wondering if anyone has tried this service. It would be nice to find people to barter services. Anyway, any information will be appreciated. What dates are you talking about? There's a good chance we could take him in up here for a spell. We'd love to have a visitor! Zoey and Caitlyn would LOVE that
