How scary!! Glad everything turned out okay. |
All's well that ends well! Reminds me of the first time we brought Mady to Grandma's house, Mady must have only been 6 months old. She has a fenced backyard, and I let her out into it, Kim asked me to make sure the backyard gate was closed, I went out, and sure enough it wasn't closed and Mady was no longer in the backyard, my heart stopped, I went running down the path alongside the house and found her lying on the front door stop! Kim and I tend to be a lot more cautious than most dog owners, our dogs are never left unsupervised in our backyard, we never leave them in the car (when it's cool out). The only time they're out of our sight is locked at home (with an alarm system!) when we're at work or out without them. NOT that I think badly of anyone else, this is just our comfort level. |
Phew! Good thing they didn't know what to do with their freedom... or maybe they did and they know where their food comes from LOL. Smart dogs! |
How scary - I'm glad they stuck around and are SAFE! |
Holy Cow So glad they stayed by the house!! |
Dad said I jumped out of the car before it stopped. I was so freaked out. We drive down the drive and they come run with big goofy looks like Look what we did!!! |
I'm glad they were home when you got there and all was well. |
If it was Bailey, we would have found her down the street playing with the neighborhood kids! (and it has happened before!) |
That was too scary, glad they stuck around to brag about how clever they were |
So glad they are ok-- Silly puppies Sounds like they just liked the excitement of the escape but really didn't want to go anywhere! |
