| I was number 85 on the library waiting ist so I actually bought it. I NEVER buy fiction. Started it Friday (at work, sssh, don't tell) and finished it this morning. |
| I finished it last week. I loved it for Flynn's observation of humanism ("...I am not pretty anymore, but pretty for my age") and the relentless plot. I was disturbed on several levels though. Will probably hold Gone Girl as a future reference point for similar reads. It isn't one that I'll forget any time soon. Maybe I read into the ending, what(without giving it away) is bothering you about it? |
