I have to admit, there was a lot of grey hair in the audience! Anyone else want to admit they remember these two bands? |

Remember and loved them. These guys are touring right now and I'm thinking I might wanna go - Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald & Boz Scaggs This would be a good show. Vance |
OK, you have me confused with the Dobie Brothers title...thought you were talking dogs....then realized you meant the Doobies! Yes, they are great, Chicago too. I haven't checked into the new reincarnations though. We did see Boston and ZZ Top in concert...but geez, must have been 10 yrs ago for sure. They were both awesome though! edit - and now I see a mod or Ron just fixed your title line |

I was wondering why Dobermans were in the Entertainment section! |
Not only remember them, but the original members of Chicago (like Peter Cetera) grew up in my neighborhood although they were older. My friend dated Peter's younger brother Kenny. I really don't like their music. My first formal dance in high school was called "Color My World." Blech. Love the Doobs though, but only with the original singer (I cannot remember his name). I cannot stand Michael M.'s voice. The last live concert I saw was The Kinks in 1988! I've seen The Kinds twice, The Who twice (with Keith Moon), The Stones, Eric Clapton, George Harrison., David Bowie. Guess I love British rock. That was back in the days of the Chicago Stadium and tickets under $10. |
