Please enjoy "Quite a Mooving Video" (A little less than 2 minutes of the country life) I haven't counted, but there are, I think, 18 Belted Galloways (16 are traditionally marked, 1 is a redhead (OK, kinda fawn really) and 1 is kinda in between) and there is 1 Milking Devon (The one with the horns). |

I knew what this was about right away But maybe I'm a cheat, being on livestock judging teams throughout my teen years |
Never heard or seen of them. How cute. They're kinda bumblebeeish. |
I've heard of them being called Oreo cows. |
we have a farm that has belted galloway's I think when the calfs are born they are all black? I have to ride over and see if I am remembering correctly Dawn do you know? |
Babies are belted. One of our neighbors raised them...so cute! Here's a picture, from the Beltie web site: http://www.beltie.org/images/FRYEBURG.JPG |
I know scale is hard to judge in the video but the last group of animals were all this year's calves. All belted. One redhead. |
How cute that they go single-file, like cows on parade! |
