They cannot sit down without noise coming out of one end of their bodies. Rags groans when she lays down and Pepsi farts. Oh they are quiet pair! LOL |

Ziggi just started groaning and it is so funny, it's like she is complaining with each movement. And than when she gets down and settled she farts. Your house sounds a lot like mine |
Yes, they are very entertaining dogs......ahem. |
Not so unlike their owners... |
Oops, I meant "quite", but I am sure you got my drift. Rags also likes to come over to me after she has eaten so she can burp on me. When she goes to lay down she slowly slides from a sit to a laying position on the tile floor and the moan starts and continues til she's down with a big humph at the end. LOL Our German Shepherd used to make the same exact humph noise, which earned him the nickname Humphrey. LOL In the past couple of years gas has become a big issue for Mr. Pepsi. Almost every time he sits down he will fart as soon as his butt hits the floor, which will cause him to jump. I guess it's the vibration of it against the floor because when he is laying down, he just sits there. LOL I do have to say though... his sensitive tummy seems to have strengthened over the years. In return.... gas. I prefer the gas over the run, any day!!! |
Yes, that's a good trade off! Harley the basset is 14.5 yrs, and he came into rescue and our house at 11.5 yrs. So we never knew him as anything but old! He groans and talks a lot...but that's a basset thing anyway. He does NOT fart, however! Chewie and especially Bond have that one covered very well. |
