Uncle Pete,
This is a great web site. I often go to it. Lola reminds me of Jil's Belle (her markings). I hope someone finds it in their heart to adopt Lola. She looks so sweet. |
What a pretty girl! How sad that someone would give her up because they consider her to be handicapped. I hope she finds a wonderful home with people to teach her sign language. |
Nia has been out there at least since I got Belle in September. I wish she'd find a home. |
It's heartbreaking that nobody wants her. I've been going to Petsmart in TC with my girlfriend who is looking for a dog. Every Sat the same 12yo german sheperd is there and nobody even looks at him because of his age. Evety time we leave I feel like crying for the poor thing, he's a nice dog but has health problems in addition to his age |
That is heartbreaking. That would be Belle, if I hadn't had a weak moment; the best weak moment I ever had! |
Lola found a home! With a special education teacher for deaf children -- how perfect!!
Great pictures and the story here: http://www.texasoesrescue.com/LOLAHTpage.htm |
What a great story!
I'll never understand how people can be so cruel. But thank GOD there are angels, like these folks, among us. Yeah Lola!! |
I just went to the link, what wonderful stories! I hope the ones that need homes find a furever home soon. |
