| When I was still working Friday afternoons were eight hours long it seemed. Now everyday is like that. |
| Our school was retiled and carpeted this summer. Which meant everything had to boxed up, labeled, and moved. They finally finished waxing the floor in my clinic, so today was cleaned up day for me. I washed everything off, hung the clinic bed curtains that I had cleaned. I bought a new fridge, the old one was original to the building, which turned out to be 1/4" too tall. So I hauled it back to the store, then went elsewhere to buy another one. And we don't have AC in the building yet. I found out that AC for one day across the District equals the annual salary for a teacher. And it was only 102, which i a cool front right now. |

I had the day off!!  ...but I work 12 hour shifts both Saturday and Sunday  |

I too am truly bored. It's saturday am and I am at work. I should probably enjoy this for now because we WILL get busy after the storms that came thru last night. Working for a construction company, this is our bread and butter. Trees down on houses doing damage, thank GOD no tornadoes, then we have the good old leak calls. I consider "LEAK" a 4 letter word  especially when somebody says they never had a leak until we did the work. It isn't OUR fault you left the WINDOW OPEN and water came in!!!  But, I still have to be pleasant. ( I put on my sister's fake smile) If we ever get a phone system with cameras and people can see me, I am so screwed because of some of the gestures I make, SOMETIMES, such as the gun to my head, fire and slip down in my chair, rolling of eyes and making faces  . What I really want to do is go home and snuggle with Oliver and take a nap. Oh well, I guess I'll hang out on forum for a while  |
