Sounds to me like your video card is going bad. Vance |
And how much with that cost to replace? And where do I take it? |
Have you checked your resolution? |
Jade is good! Right click on your desktop and check your resolution to be sure it didn't get changed by mistake. As for repair, I'd go to a locally owned computer shop and have them look at it. Prices will vary depending on some factors and a local shop should be your best option for price and speed. Vance |

I've been cursing them longer! Vance |
If a laptop and not a gaming laptop likely to have embedded graphics card, it would be unusual on a laptop to display outside of it's display range. You haven't enabled external graphics port recently have you and set the resolution for external screen or Projector? If the graphics have gone phut and is embedded then you'll need a new mobo, how old is the laptop? make etc? |
Well, I took my laptop to the Geek Squad. The "geek" said "since it only does it when you're on the Internet, it must be an IE7 issue." So he reset all the properties to the defaults and the problem was solved. He said he didn't know what the issue was but he knew how to fix it. And didn't charge me. I haz a happy. |
Glad it's fixed! |
erm you didn't say on here it only happened on the Internet........................ |
