Hello From WI
Just joined this wonderful group. Glad to know there are so many uprights who love Sheepies. My husband and I are owned by two wonderful Sheepies, Bill and Maggie. Bill is our purebred Sheepie - he is large and laid back, a real Mama's boy. He is happiest being in the same room as his Mom. He loves to go camping and of course loves to ride (or drive as he thinks of it) in our truck. Bill loves squeeky toys or should I say he loves ripping apart his toys to get the squeeker out. Toy life expect. is approx. 2 mins. Maggie is mixed bred, part sheepdog and part who knows what. Her mom was a pedigred Sheepdog and her dad was an unknown visitor. Mags looks somewhat like a sheepie - she has a thinner version of a sheepdog coat, sheepie eyes and feet. She is the smart one of the bunch, she orders all of us around. Maggie thinks the sun rises and sets on her Dad. Maggie is positive that she is the princess of Wisconsin, she has the attitude and the jewelery (many tags on her collar) to prove it. We are thinking about adopting another rescue sheepdog. Really would like a purebred male sheepdog. If anyone hears of any in the Illinois or Wisconsin area please let us know. thanks, Martha |

Welcome to the forum. Nothing like having 2 sheepies to double the fun - 3 is even better. Hope to see some pics of your angels. | Hi Martha. Welcome! There's a few of us around here from Northern Illinois. And there will be a sheepie picnic in Gurnee sometime in October, so stay tuned for details (if Debcram ever comes back from vacation!).
