yes diane, check them for yourself to be sure, but the real ones will hold 5 dogs and a family and me. been there, done that. the mastiff weighed 205 himself. |
The pool cover at The Paw was on one day when I had 2 of the dogs (Biscuit and Maggie) in for baths. (the bath area is in the pool room) Crazy Maggie (the coonhound) stepped out onto it...and then inched across the width of the pool to me on her belly! Got a little more than she bargained for on that one. But it held her just fine |
Yup! They hold em! |
Although I admit, I do train my dogs NOT to do something like this. They are trained to stay out of the pool & off the cover. But this is Mariah & well.....Mariah is a singleton, what can I say. She's never thought she really was one of the the dogs 100% so I guess she figured the rule didn't apply to her at the time. In her old age & being much wiser I don't think she'd try this now. Seriously, the cover you need to really worry about is when the solar blanket cover is on it in the summer season. Now THAT they can really get tangled up in & drown. Our dogs are never in the pool area unless we are & it is fenced in seperately from the dog run. |
