That's very exciting!!!!! I remember feeling the same way when we lived in Alaska (had no fence). Hope you love it |
Enjoy! |
I'm so happy for you and your dogs. |
You will LOVE having a fence! I swear when we put ours up it was the best money I ever spent. I can walk around outside with the dogs and not worry about always keeping an eye on them or trying to keep them from running into the street. They love being able to chase each other around free too. Enjoy! |
I know!!!!!!! Before we moved here their whole lives they had totally freedom. I have hated it, as I am sure they have. They will be so surprised when we get home!!! |
That is great!!! Make sure you get some pics of them out enjoying themselves |
Yay!!! |
We have a chain link fence here too! It doesn't really stop them from barking at cars, but it keeps them in! I had my fence put up when I got the house, before I had either of the dogs, because I was planning on having a dog... or two! |
Well it is wonderful! I swear they kicked their heels when I opened the door and let them out. WOW the panting we they were done racing around. Funny enough so far they haven't barked at any of the cars. Kids came up to say hello they were little wiggling bum angels. I live by an apartment building so lots of cars coming into the parking lot. Not a peep. Laika actually wouldn't come in when I had to go to the store she loves it. Now if there is a need for pee in the middle of the night I don't have to get dressed to go out. Just slide the door open. YIPPPEEEEEEEE!!!! |
Wonderful!!! |
maybe be you can grow bushes or somthing nice to grow up the link chain fence. I know your weather is hard on the plants I think |
Funny enough I bought some emerald cedars and juniper trees today. |
Good luck with them...I tried the same thing along our kennel run...male dogs used them for target practice and they never made it to the 1st winter... |
Do worries with Langley he doesn't mark and he isn't much for lifting the o' leg. Laika is better at it than he is |

Sorry! hahah tomorrow. |
Another day of pouring rain. No pictures. |
We put the shrubs on the outside of the fence so they can't pee on them! I remember when we first got our fence and let them out. They were crazy, as if they were doing this Mine did however make a dirt path from pacing back and forth by the fence to catch all the people going by! Hope it stops raining by you so you can all enjoy! |
I had the trees on the outside too. I apparently under-estimated the power of a determined dog's urine stream.... Sorry about that rain too...I would gladly take it here! |
