Yes! Have been watching the trials! Love the Olympics! |
Diving and Gymnastics |
I prefer the winter Olympics, but I love them both. I will watch any event. I particularly like the human interest stories (when they are REAL stories, not just media hype) and love to learn the history of events. Oddly enough, I'm not too interested in the equestrian events. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time with the television. Must get good snacks. |
I watch ZERO summer games but will watch nearly every winter ever I can find broadcast. Dunno why, just love winter games. Vance |
I could of got tickets but you don't know what sport your going to get also the prices were a bit stupid as well. £7:30 for a pint all of the food prices are a rip off |
I love Olympics (both winter and summer). Todd changes the channel Talk about remote wars!! |
I with you Dawn, l love it all both summer and winter. |
I'm with Paula. I will watch a little of everything. All of gymnastics. |
I enjoy the track stuff, also the swimming. I also try to watch rowing when they show it, which is seldom. As an avid skier though, I have to say, I do love me some Winter Olympics. Of course my favorite event of all the Olympics is: Opening and Closing Ceremonies! |
I used to watch swimming and skiing but haven't watched any this year. I guess I have been too busy doing other stuff. Bonnie/Carley's Mom |
most people in the uk think ts a waste of money |
Gymnastics - 2 of the men's team (and the 3 alternates) are guys I've watched at our university meets. My niece was was supposed to tryout for the US women's team this year, but had to drop gymnastics due to recurring ankle problems (after 11 years of preparation - sigh). Swimming and diving. |

I dunno, really couldn't care any less than I do. We had a neighbor who was trying to make the Olympics in curling a few Winter Games ago. Given his apparent physical conditioning it apparently isn't the most challenging sport from a cardiovascular standpoint. Perhaps as in the biathlon, not shivering when shooting is critical so perhaps extra insulation is beneficial. |
