A Michigan get together at the Bark Park next weekend?
Are any of you interested in meeting up next weekend? I know we had brought it up before so I thought I'd see. Here's my idea: would anyone be interested in meeting up at the Orion Oaks Bark Park? I've heard great things about it-- it's a 7 acre enclosure, with a lake to swim in (for the dogs), trails, grass, shady trees. A friend of ours just went and said it was awesome so now I want to try it out. This weekend they just opened up a new section too. It's $5 for Oakland County residents and $10 for non but it sounds worth it-- at least to check out once! I got these directions from another message board: You can take 75 north to the Joslyn Road exit (by Great Lakes Crossing). Go north on Joslyn past Maybee road, past Canterbury Village. There's a small lake (called something like Lake 16) on the left side where there's usually people fishing and stuff, JUST PAST that little park on the left side is the dog park. It's not very well marked and the first time we went we drove right past it. Would anyone like to meet up? If anyone's interested, say so and we can set up a time. Jill |
