Of course, we could just go on a full throttle cookie baking frenzy... that way, we would have to worry about how long it lasts. I do know that anyone interested can sample said cookies at this year's Sheep-In, as well as my now famous Bacon Explosion. Any SERIOUS thoughts? Vance |

As long as it smells like vanilla ...it's fine! |
http://lmgtfy.com/?q=shelf+life+of+vanilla haha I love this site Like fine wine, real vanilla extract will mature with age and continue to improve over time. Some say indefinitely. In general, because it is a form of liqueur, vanilla extract should last “forever”. They actually mention Mexican vanilla http://www.vanillareview.com/2008/shelf-life-of-vanilla-extract/ |
So we can get the new bottle with confidence, that's good. Can we still do the full throttle baking frenzy? I really do want some cookies... Vance |

Pretty sure it lasts forever. When I was a kid, we had a bottle of vanilla we used to make cookies. And we used it for the next ten years! I almost took it with me when I moved out. If you want to find out how long something is good, check on stilltasty.com. I love that website! |
