We have gotten a lot of rain the last couple of days but this is further north west of us so far, more coming tonight. Grateful for the rain but hate to hear about all the misery it can cause. |

I heard they were flooding, but haven't had news on to hear that sad news We have been in a dry pocket here, but this current band that just formed is really soaking us nicely. Thunder, lightening, but no wind! Very nice. Todd's by Hastings - and they were making the news with all their damage on Tuesday. He's out in the fields, trying to harvest peas...NOT working well. It just started raining again and the pickers are sliding and getting stuck. His tractor gets used to pull them out...I just talked to him and he's waiting for them to shut them down any minute now... |
I am saddened to hear of the lose of life due to flooding. My prayers are with you guys. Hoping this weather passes quickly without any further damage. Robin |

Good grief! That's terrible! You could always send some of that rain out this direction... I honestly cannot recall the last time it rained here. Last year some time maybe? |

It was their barnyard animals; donkey goats and sheep Not the donkey! Polar bears escaped but were captured. Seal was found swimming down the street. |
Oh no! How horrible! |
So very very sad. We lost a few zoo animals here in Nashville during the bad flood two years ago. The water rose so fast that the zoo keepers could not rescue the animals fast enough. It is heartbreaking. |
