And white carpet too!...they are crazy. Looks like the lambs have fun though. Today is a sad day (somewhat), as our gang just went down to a friend's place for summer pasture. Literally just now - we just vaccinated all the lambs this morning, and Todd has them in the stock trailer and is on his way. We have too little pasture this year (as Todd had the bright idea to put half our pasture in crops )...and too young for the lambs to be weaned. So, all the ewes and lambs are going down there together. We just have a wether, the ram, Stefany and Francis the llamas and Teddy the pony here now. Teddy's in the barn, as he's a founder senior citizen pony, and can't be on pasture. So just 2 sheep and 2 llamas out on our pasture for awhile. |
Dawn: I'm sure your farm feels so empty. Those lambs in the video were so funny. The look on the dogs face says "I'm staying out of there."lol |
How is the dog not eating them?! |
because its a german "shepherd" dog |
I too wondered about the white carpet! Sorry the sheep have to be moved....who knew it would be such a dry winter. |
Sorry you have so little animal company... What crops? (I'm always hungry...) |

Yeah lonely....only 6 dogs, 1 cat, 1 pony, 2 llamas (hopefully 3 in July!!), 2 sheep, a flock of chickens, fish in the pond.... But still will be weird looking out at the pasture with so few. Todd said the pasture at Russ's is all grown up (no one on it all spring) and they were so happy! |
What was that word we used a couple of years ago...? Sproing! |
