How nice for Brick to get sick during Sheepiepalooza
He kept me up all night (I'm pretty tired). I brought him to my vet that I used when I lived in St. Louis and his diagnosis is non-specific GI upset/imflamation. He gave him an anti-vomit shot and amoxicillan. I have to give him the first pill and a little water at 11 AM (CDT). If he doesn't puke, great. I could give him a handful of food tonight but he would prefer to wait till tomorrow morning. Have to keep him quiet this morning and limit his activity going forward. If he pukes again, I'll probably have to bring him back for blood work. He's resting comfortably on the bed now.  What a time to get sick.  |

| So Brick did pretty good yesterday. No vomiting, no signs of distress. Tail up, head up. He drank as much water as he wanted and held it down. A couple of poops (1 yesterday, 1 this morning). There wasn't a lot but it was formed & solid. He ate some food this morning, too. Hopefully he's on the mend. |

| He handled the 98 degree weather well today. He just laid on the cool concrete floor of the pavilion while his new fan blew on him. We're back in the room now and both of them are sprawled out on the floor. |
