Sheepiepalooza – where to meet on Friday
BEFORE 4:00 - you can pick up your shirts and itinerary from Carol in the hotel lobby. She will be there from 1:00 until 4:00 for those of you who are already at the hotel and want to stop in to pick up your stuff. There are a limited number of Sheepiepalooza towels availabe for sale and she will have those with her. AFTER 4:00 - we will all be in the Soulard area of St. Louis. For those of you who are crossing over the Mississipi River when entering St. Louis, you would hit this area before getting to the hotel and should try to join us instead of going to the hotel so as not to miss any of the festivities. We will be at the dog park from 4:15 to around 5:00 then we will probably break into smaller groups to eat at the area restaurants. All of the restaurants are within a few blocks of each other. The address to the dog park is 10th & Emmet St., St. Louis, MO 63104. If we are already gone from the dog park then text me to find out where we are eating. Carol will have the shirts and itineraries with her on Friday evening so you can get your stuff then. We will all get back together again at the dog park following dinner. If anyone is up for it we will follow that with a frozen custard run – Harry’s favorite!!!! You should have received a text from me two days ago to add my cell phone number to your contacts. FYI, most of my texts for this event are group texts and with my crazy schedule I will not be answering texts before Friday afternoon. Thanks for your understanding. Before anyone asks – there are no times on the itineray because we want the flexibility to adjust the schedule for weather, fatigue, etc. We will discuss our next meeting time at the prior event and then I will probably send out a group text for good measure. |

So funny - was just thinking of those this morning when I rescued mine from one of the little shark's jaws. Miraculously, it survived intact (unlike a majority of my socks - puppies seem to be in cahoots with my dryer to leave me sockless, but I digress) Maybe it was the little girls' way of saying they wish they were going?
