yes i hate this time of the year if my boys only knew how much fun it would be i would be in trouble |
You can add us to the list! I can't seem to convince my other half that this would be a fun thing to do and worth the 17 hr drive or whatever it is.... I have to say that the PA picnic did win him over! Last night out of nowhere he told me that he misses all the sheepies that he met at the PA picnic! We are heading in the right direction! Perhaps, next year |
We can't go this year either. Crossing fingers we'll be able to go in 2014. |
shari you are not that far from me You and I should have car pooled and left the male uprights home!! maybe next year cindy |
Add me and Jen to this list. As a pseudo consolation, we do have a dog show on Saturday and Sunday in Hamilton, OH. So I'll be posting updates about it that I'm sure will get buried in all the SheepiePaLooza posts Anyone from the tri-state area of KOI are welcome to come up and cheer us on. Ring 8, high noon both days! Vance |
I'm bummed too. I would have loved to have gone, but my vacation time is being sucked up by roller derby conventions that I am teaching at over the summer. And then hubby just said "hey, let's go to Disney too this summer!" so yeah. Maybe next time! |

He had a blast, and now wouldn't miss it for anything. |

Adam could join you in this thread. He's VERY unhappy that he has to stay home and work. I keep almost asking him if he'd rather I stay home, and then I just bite my tongue instead. |
nooo Allison don't offer to stay home GO girl GO and have fun for all of us who cannot attend!! I went once and it was just so much fun!!!!! Today it is misty and grey and I am thinking of everyone with their sheepies and other dogs on the road to have fun... well it sort of helps |
Cindy....we will miss you.....((huggs)).......................... |
Cindy! Guess this means you won't be my roomie |
Include me on this list. One day I WILL get there. Meeting OES folks & their dogs in person is the BEST. To combat Sheepiepalooza-envy, I will console myself by showing Hudson in 3 trials over the holiday weekend. Friday = rally; Saturday = nose work; Monday = rally. Linda Zimmerman & Hudson, Chloe & Kristy |
well I did get my hair cut incase someone stopped by to take me and my family has a great spot at the fairhill races so we will picnic sat and place bets on the horses (but I will see sheepies running ) and it will be fun but not as fun as sheepiepalooza!!! I did check flights just in case I could flyand bring my stained glass pieces. OMG the fares!! Then I could have stayed with Dawn But sadly it is not to be and I only have a puppy foster here. all I can say is ACK! ACK!! ACK!!! |
You're near Fair Hill?? Cool--I've always wanted to go to their fall 3 day event (horses). I'm thinking that it's a good thing I didn't go to Sheepiepalooza. The winds are really horrendous and there was an accident on the road I was going to be driving on today. The accident was due to blowing dirt and dust and the MediVac had to be called. The highway is now closed. |

He is so excited to be here! |
Paula Yes I am about 50 min from fair hill and have been to their 3 day fall event. It is wonderful especially the cross country event Such atheletes!!!! the horses and riders. cindy |
That sounds like a fun event. We had planned on going to Sheepiepalooza. We made our reservations and sent in all of the paperwork. Then other issues with family got in the way and we had to miss it this year. I will spend tomorrow teaching the students who didn't get classes finished so that they will be able to graduate. I have been with some of these seniors every day from before 7:ooAM until after3:00PM. The only break was when they went to find something to eat and then a couple of juniors came in to take tests. Oh well 1 more week. Maybe we will get to the Dog Show in Hamilton this weekend for a few minutes. Carley's Mom |
We also don't get to go ): But, on the bright side, I get to stay here and help out with the new baby, and I need to be here to take care of Christian's dog since she's having her surgery as soon as I can get her in to my vet. Not a happy occasion, but I am glad I was around to offer help. |
I was so hoping I could go. I would have flown in because it's just too long to drive from Ca. I just hope I have money to go next time. My main goal now is to get to Nationals there next year. I am so bummed I won't get to be at Sheepiepalooza this year. So many friends to meet and I have finals instead. |
I am off to the races at fairhill!! I am thinking of Bob The wonder pony I hope he feels better!! Everyone at sheepiepalooza have fun!! I think I will pplace a bet for TOES and if I win donate the $$ to rescue (but they better not count on it because I NEVER win!!) everyone have a great and safe memorial day weekend. I can just see the sea of sheepie butts |
