Cone of Shame

Ziggi has a small sore on her right front paw that never seems to go away. She's had it since March and she continues to lick it on a regular basis. I have had her running around the house with a sock on her foot since March so she can't get at it. Well we went to the Vet last night for the second time and she is on another round of antibiotics, but now she has the CONE of SHAME.

It is very sad. Ziggi is mostly blind and deaf, but she gets around fairly well considering. With the cone she is walking into everything, getting stuck against the wall, you name it. The cone is clear so I think it is really confusing whatever sight she does have. It's sad but for her own good.

poor sweetheart....
oh bless....give her a gentle hug from me x
I prefer the soft cones.......easier on all concerned. Poor thing.
Poor girl. It's rough when they need stuff done for their own good...:(
I hope it heals up and her time in a cone is short!!
Poor girl. I hope she gets to leave the cone behind soon.

Carley's Mom
Poor thing...watch your legs.
We used alo vera on her pads & it worked as she keeps on licking them but she licks everyone & every thing. Hope she is better as Geogri had a rugby sock on for 2 weeks
