uggh indeed! I would spend the whole day with a creepy crawly sensation. Maggie had a dead tick embedded in her neck. She's on Revolution so I am hoping it died before transmitting any disease but I am keeping an eye on her. I didn't even realize it was a tick -- I thought it was a cut or blood blister. Finally dawned on me that it must be a tick and I pulled it out. Yuck! |
Wait until they get older and get doggie moles. Feels just like a tick. Only when the dog yelps do you realize it's part of the dog. Then there's the nipples......how often have you mistook a nipple for a tick? |
Never did find the tick. Reminds me that I have to change the vacuum cleaner bag, just in case. Found another one on him last night. I check Oscar EVERY time we come in, even if he's just on our lawn, but these guys are getting past me somehow. I still have the heebie jeebies. Laurie and Oscar |

I think I found it!! I was driving home from Bond's fun match this afternoon, and found one crawling on the neck coat of Chewie! |
Yucko here, hate ticks too!! Since we got Sam I found four deer ticks so far, on him or on the floor by him. They give me the creepy crawlies Have Frontline Plus on him and vacinated for Lymes disease. He's safe but not me. I freak out thinking he might bring any on on my bed! |
Quote: I freak out thinking he might bring any on on my bed! Yep, that's a concern I share. Only takes one hitchhiker to leap aboard....... |
