Does anyone else use all natural products? Lisa Frankie and Mattie |

I don't yet, but I'd like to. It's just kind of hard to find alternatives without it costing a ton. There's a few natural things I use though. We use white vinegar to clean the carpet. If you don't mind the smell of it, it's pretty great, it takes the smell of piddle away. My mom used to make her own natural soap, I don't know if you'd be interested in that though, if I remember right it wasn't too easy to make. We also use homeopathy instead of traditional medicines (not for anything super serious of course, but things you would normally treat with over the counter stuff, like colds). My mom used it when I was growing up and it works pretty well so I've been using it too, and it doesn't have all the risks that traditional medicines can. If you're interested in it at all, I can tell you more about it. |
We make our own laundry soap, and I buy homemade bar soap for our washing/bathing. I use the Greenworks natural spray cleaner for household cleaning (surfaces, windows, etc.) We also do not spray our lawn with any chemicals, nor our garden or fruit trees. We raise our own veggies, as much of the meat as possible, our chickens live and eat free range and lay eggs. For respiratory, etc. stuff I use echinacea and golden seal. I react badly to regular antibiotics - so I avoid them as often as possible...thank goodness I've only really needed them a few times in my life - I had a bad pneumonia as a child, and a uterine infection gone bad after the birth of my twins....that's about all I've ever really caved and needed true antibiotics. I'm rarely sick except for migraines (hereditary), rarely wear any makeup, and most people say I look pretty young for my age |
We use a steam cleaner |
