| This makes me glad I mainly feed foods made in somewhat local, independent plants - Fromm's in Mequon WI, and NutriSource in Perham, MN. |
| Crikeys when are these food recalls going to end, makes one happier to buy local and also home prepare a lot of the diet as well. I cant believe how much is sourced on the cheap from china where the problems started especially with kibbles.  God bless the local holisitic dry my pooches are on and also going the extra yard and preparing fresh food as well. This saga has been ongoing for way toooooooo long, hopefully live and learn as far as countries standards and not going EL CHEAPO with ingredients in both kibble and commercial wet food for our beloved fur kids.  |

| These recalls are a bit different than the ones back in 2007, which caused many dogs to gt sick and even die...This time around its a risk to the humans handling the food as it is suspected of having saminola poisoning ( spelling?). Anyway, I don't think any dog as of yet has gotten sick. But since it involed the humans, they jumped in to recall We all know, if it was just dogs getting sick, they would ahve waited and waited... |
| So far so good here. I contacted the store I buy the taste of the wild from and the manufacturer for this food is not the same as the one with the recall. We are all keeping an eye on this tho. |
