We have a new sheepie, age 14 months, who eats Canidae. I would appreciate your opinions on best dry dog food in the US market. We fed our previous pooch Eagle Pack. Various pet store employees have recommended Innova, AvoDerm and Blue. Thanks for your anticipated input. |

PERSONALLY, they all seem to be good foods. I'd go with the one that is [and maybe presently] doing well with the dog as far as no itching, gas, and nice poos. I could only dream of those things, so I think those who have it should just enjoy Probably not exactly what you were hoping for as an answer, but I'd be fine knowing I chose a good dog food and the only difference between what he/she has now ....and another brand is one additional ingred. That's just me ...but again, I'm a tired fur-mom who wants a normal diet for her dog |
There is a really good thread on Grading Your Dog Food at the top of this forum - check it out if you're curious about the various foods. We currently feed Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy to our little girl, but I have to say, her gas can be so bad that I start looking around for a stray poop when it happens. She woke me from a dead sleep with it last night! |
