I don't know a lot about Schnausers, but you will probably want to check a couple of things. Is it possible he has an ear infection? That will cause a dog to stink - even after bathing. Also, the anal glands needing to be expressed can cause an unpleasant odor. Then, I'd ask what are you using to bathe him? Sometimes you can change shampoos and it will help. Does it have oatmeal in it? That helps soothe the skin and kill odors pretty well. 
Just a couple of suggestions. Wish I could be of more help! My OES doesn't smell bad (generally speaking) unless he gets into something stinky. But my mom and sister have Shi Tzus and they can be smelly little buggers! Within a few days after bathing, they're already starting to stink!  |
