When I pull up to the front gate, I used to get a hardy welcome, now it is lukewarm....old dogs.......but for sure all three have to take a pee. Is it "welcome home Mom" this is indeed our house" or what?? A guest to the house commented on it too......"Do they all pee when you come home? |

Funny! |
hahaha... so true about dogs in general too!! It's nice to have an animal who is always so positive and filled with joy and happiness that ...they literally can't contain it sometimes. I could probably learn from them (but I'm not sure I can start peeing when visitors come to the door). |
hmmm, mine all greet like a happy mob, but then run to the door that lets them out into the dog yard. It is likely an ingrained habit though, because when we get home they have been home alone for maybe several hours, and we let them out to potty. |
Mine are already outside, so they have had plenty of opportunity to pee......anytime. It's like they are saving it just for me Normally I pay no mind to their body needs, even a dog needs some privacy. Yes, it could simply be excitement and knowing they'll soon go inside so might as well drain the tank. Yesterday an arborist came by to look at some trees and Jack came over to him and proceeded to pee.....not on the human but about 4 feet away. Was that his greeting? Because immediately after, Jack walked off. "This is MY yard" statement ? |
My sheep all pee when we come in the barn, or up close to them in the pasture....but that is more of a nervous, prey animal thing....lighten the tank before you take flight! |
