Many start with the same letter, so they get kind of creative! The M's are about the worst! Minnesota - MN Missouri - MO Mississippi - MS Massachusetts - MA Montana - MT Michigan - MI |
dont feel bad, Im born and raised in the US and I still get the "M" states wrong.  Texas is easy--- TX.  |
You can name almost any size able city in the world and Texas has a same named city, some the namesake city would not be too flattered over.  |

| People say that Americans don't know world geography, but that is because they just have so much U.S. geography to learn there is no room left in the geographical part of the brain! I use the sheepie Christmas cards as a U.S. geography lesson. I know more about the U.S. because I have a sheepdog than I learned in my previous years (ok, decades) on this planet! Who knew OES.org would be responsible for educating Canadians about Americans? |
