My "baby" boy is 30 today!
 I think I could come to grips with it better if I had grandchildren, but alas - none so far. He's 30, my daughter is 26, both are living with their "others" but no talk of marriage, let alone babies. If I HAVE to feel older because my kids are getting older, than I WANT TO BE A GRANDMOTHER!! Is that too much to ask?   Seriously, I am so very proud of my son and his accomplishments in life. I remember the day he was born like it was yesterday - when we left for the hospital that morning, there was a hot air balloon flying over our house. Put us in extra good moods! He's been a blessing ever since, I love him beyond imagination, and my world would be so incomplete without him. Happy birthday, Spencer! I held you in my arms once, I hold you in my heart still, and forever. |

| That is awesome, Chris! Isn't it nice to have grown kids...and grown kids who are good kids!...ok, maybe not "kids" still, but to us moms they still are.  My girls will be 28 next month, so I'm getting closer.....  ...and just wait, grandkids are great!  |
| Happy Birthday to Spencer! It is amazing how quickly time goes by and before we know it, our kids are in their 30's. When my oldest niece turned 40 I really felt old. My children are in their 30's, but my youngest is 26, so still young. lol I became a great grandmother at the end of March through my step-son...no should I feel old? lol My husband and I are still both in our 50's. lol I hope Spencer has a fun day! |
| My babies are all in their 40's and the oldest will be 50 in a couple of years. I can't believe it either and in my mind they are still 3. They are all good people and I do have 4 grandkids but can't believe they are as old as they are and especially that I am that old. I still see myself in my mind as 30, oh, how I wish. |
| My oldest turned 30 last week! It does make you just stop and reflect! My son is 25--neither married or serious about anyone! I hope to have a few grandchildren before I am too old to enjoy them! Sigh! |

| I hear your pain. Many friends are getting tired of waiting for grandchildren while their kids diddle around into their 30's. I remember how Mom felt when her first born turned 70! Humbled.......and OLD. |
