| GOOD LUCK!!!! I once dropped my ring in my bedroom in the morning as I was dressing for work. Heard it hit the wood floor (so this had to be more than 20 years ago as I've been in this house.... oh wow!!! 20 years to the day today!!) and couldn't find it anywhere. Went to work, came home. Still no ring. Got undressed and as I hung my pants on the hanger, the ring fell out of my cuffed pant leg. Heard it hit the floor again! Found it that time. LOL Ya never know. |
Maybe its still around Caitlyns finger?!!  Maybe it flew into a plant pot or under a chair, or if caitlyn ran back and forth it could be anywhere that she went. When bloo knocked moms lens out her glassses the other week, it happened in the house we found it by the back door. Things are always where you least expect themt to be. let us know (if you find it) where it was sam  |

Happens to the best of you  Jim lost his diving into Tappan Lake back in 1973 while we were camping with another couple & while the other wife & I were at a bridal shower! Needless to day, I didn't hire a scuba diver And I didn't even suggest we buy him another one (cheapo me). That was 39 years ago & we're still married so I guess I made the right call. You'll find it where you least expect it. At least you're going into summer & the weather should be better to look for it |
| I did hear it hit the deck between my feet and then Caity lunged down towards the noise. I don't think she actually got it as when she came up in a split second, she was open mouthed and panting. I'm thinking that if anything, she probably hit it with her feet or nose and it got launched under the top deck that I was sitting on and is now in the stack of dimensional lumber that is under that deck. Either way, it's gonna take some time to find it. I spoke to a co-worker who is a Boy Scout troop leader and he's also gonna bring in his metal detector tomorrow. So I'm sure I'll find it eventually. And I'm not above waving the detector over poo either! Vance |
| In light of this new information, it sounds like you may need to widen your search over the next couple of days to include everywhere that Caity goes..... |

| At the risk of grossing anyone out, I do keep an eye on both dogs poo. I feel you can tell a lot about how they feel or are going to feel just by this weird watch. Also, I can yell at Jen when she feeds them people food they shouldn't be eating... So I do know their 'spots' in the yard. I'll be following her around tonight with some yard markers so I can scan them with a detector tomorrow if the search under and around the deck uncovers nothing. Vance |
