it all depends what your doing with them. if you cutting a matt into pieces so its easier to cut out then anything will do if your blending then a finer cut. ie if you have clipped a body and want to hand scissor the legs it gives a lovely transition to that if you scissoring the whole coat then a chunky cut. i use 3 different thinning shears a roseline for my work horse scissors, cutting matts into pieces they cost about £50 and some gieb crocs that are my finishing shears they cost about £130 i think and i wouldnt dream of cutting through matts with them! and my oster chunkers which are great for scissoring a full coat, where a normal scissor will leave a line and show every mistake, these hide a multidude of sins, there about 9" and have about guessing 20 teeth |
