2 speed trimmers

Ok...
So what 2 speed trimmers do you reccommend?
I want to order today so I can have for the weekend.
What kind of blades do you reccommend? I know what numbers just not what kind. As in what they are made of.

Thanks you guys are all the best.

I like the Andes & I prefer the steel blades. I have both ceramic & steel but feel the steel hold their edge longer. Order at least 2 of each so you can change off when they get warm when trimming.
Marilyn is right, Andes is the way to go. I have a single speed but still love the shape and feel of the clipper. Very well balanced.

We have an Andis clipper too. Daughter LeAnne has custody of it, as I mostly use it for belly trims occasionally, she shaves all of Martha.

It looks like this though: http://www.petedge.com/product/Andis-Ul ... /44531.uts

It's been a very good one, never a problem. The last time I used it was for the matted shave down of foster dog Bunny - and it went wonderfully.

I have that one, too and I've been really happy with it.
When shopping, be sure you're buying a clipper rather than a trimmer if your goal is to do a complete shave-down.
Trimmers are smaller, not as powerful and generally cheaper. Won't take a standard clipper blade, either. Great for toe pads and touch-ups.

Sorry, that sounds really petty but when ordering from a catalog it's sometimes hard to tell the difference by the photos.
