Kongs (puppy sized) Peanut Butter Loads of toys (my new pup seriously has a thing for stuffies) Collar Leash Brushes (I'll let the others suggest types, I started pretty basic, we're just getting used to grooming) Training Books (?) Various Treats Crate (though he'll probably come with one?) |
congrats on your new and coming puppy! Are you looking at dog items in general, or more specific for OES? |
Congratulations!!!!! Here are my personal top 12 must have for puppy items: 1)Wire crate with divider (so it can grow with your puppy) 2) Stainless Steel food and water bowls (plastic can cause allergy problems for some dogs) 3)#1 All Systems Poodle Comb 4)#1 All Systems Pin Brush 5)small puppy collar 6)leash 7)training treats (small sized--Millie likes Bill Jacks Liver treats) mild puppy shampoo (peeing on oneself is likely to happen or at least laying/stepping in it) 9)nail clippers 10)chew toys (nylabones, kongs, etc.....have a variety) 11)baby/puppy gate (for confinement when potty training and training the little shark not to nip) 12)At least one clothing item (soon your puppy will be too big and hairy to dress.....so enjoy it while you can....take and post lots of pics of this!!!) |

The one thing that should be at the top of your list to get now, before your little demon, I mean puppy arrives is SLEEEEEEEP. Oh and of course batteries for your digital camera and a nice big external drive to store all those photos you'll be taking and posting... Vance |
