snow
 Rained all night now been doing this for 2 hours. Common. It will be over later today and melted maybe by tonight, for sure tomorrow as we'll be 70. All is welcome, we only get 7 inches precip a year and last few not even that. Sorry I didnt get those flower seeds sown yesterday. Poor Harry is feeling cooped up, he wants to go outside......but doesn't. This a.m. after First Call, he came in and snuggled....he was wet......yeeeooowww. Jack says, "and you shaved me....." |

Our little April Fool's day snow fall melted quick to. Of course, underneath it was several more feet of older snow but at least it didn't add anything. You could tell it had gone because all the sawdust we had laid down for traction on the walkways was visible again  |

| I thought it looked kind of gross up north. We had medium/high wind down here yesterday, and it was much colder than it has been. I'm not too surprised you guys got snow. |

| Roz, snow line was about Socorro. We got 3 inches but disappearing quickly......the ground was pretty warm from 80 degrees a few days before. Total liquid measure was over an inch! Will have to last until July rains. Maybe be can ship some down river to you, if it gets past Elephant Butte. I just shake my head and worry about Alaska.........that's a lot of water still left to release. They were supposed to release water into the Rio this last weekend, but I drove over there and it was still like a Mars landscape. I was really hoping for some rain, we're going to have another summer of wildfires if this keeps up.  |
| What they are releasing is for the farmers' irrigation. Maybe some will trickle down. |
