Dog Easter Hunt with the St. Louis Old English Sheepdogs
The weather was beautiful. Here are some pictures before the hunt Jake, Harry and Heart with the Easter Bunny  Jake, Harry and Heart  Jake, Heart and Harry  Then it was time for the hunt. Harry was pulling to get started. Many of the eggs had been tossed during "hiding" and broke open. Harry quickly figured out that wherever there was a broken egg there were treats lying on the ground waiting to be eaten. Since most of the people passed up the open eggs Harry had quite a feast.  Afterwards they posed with their baskets (Heart's eggs were with Val). Look how pleased Harry is with the whole event.  After the hunt they gave out attendance prizes. Here are the Sheepdogs waiting patiently for their name to be called.  It is such a nice event. The local vet, dog wash and dog stores donate very nice toys and attendance prizes. All of the eggs were filled with yummy Science Diet treats. This was at least our third time attending the event. |

I needed to get out and get away from my sadness about Pearl and be with Heart and you, Harry, Carol, and Jake.... | Looks like a great day for 2 and 4 legged egg hunters. I thought you said it was for sheepdogs because it looks like an Old English Bunny got in the group somehow. Or maybe it was just Heart disguised as an Old English Bunny? |

| Judi, all the pics are just adorable! Thank you so much for bringing your camera. My favorite is the second one down........it reminds me of the Support Dog photo........even in the same order except this time it was Heart instead of Pearl on the end. (Pearl was probably watching down proudly) Harry looks so cute gleaming about his treats and Jake and Heart are looking in opposite directions! I love them all! Thanks for the invite. Jake and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, the good company, and the beautiful weather. |
