Lily is Canadian

Hello all,
I am a little shy to jump in so instead i have been eavesdropping on various topics for a few days. I have to say what a wonderful community you have all created here. I am looking forward to learning from everyone's experiences and sharing my experiences with Lily. Lily is now 16 weeks and entertains us endlessly.

Lol I would post a picture if I could figure out how?

Welcome, Yay, another cute puppy. Don't be shy because it makes the community so much better the more participation there is.

There is a post about iPad and iPhone picture uploading I think, in the picture section. Maybe it will help? I don't know much about that topic myself.

Welcome from Florida!! :wag:

twice..lol...meant to edit and reposted...lol...oops
Wow!2012 has been a whirlwind. I thought I would pop in with an update... We have enjoyed lily sooooooooo much we have added Mr. Union Jack to our clan. Jack is now 10 months old and is most definitely a beast! He very quickly passed lily on the growth scale and is tipping the scales at 80 lbs, he is our cuddle bear!
I just read an article online about the OES becoming an endangered breed! It's funny how many people admire Jack and Lily and indicate they has an OES as a kid or a family member had one etc. I always ask " why don't they get another... Most just kinda shrug... Like its a mystery!
I for one am a HUGE fan, and think everyone else is missing out on the endless hours of entertainment and the many gifts of the OES.
And that my friends is just this one Canadians opinion! :)
Yay Lily! I also have a Canadian Sheepie. Loved the pictures.
Hi Bruuruu,
I too am in Manitoba, and the proud owner of two sheepies. What is your sheepies name, how old etc?
My husband is convinced there are no other Old English Sheepdogs in Manitoba as he has never seen another one at the dog park (or any other park). Our sheepie's name is Leonard, but most of the time he gets called "Sheepie" he is 7 months old. He comes from Ontario but he seems to really like it here in Manitoba as he enjoys sleeping in piles of snow and his favourite days are when it is -20 or colder. Right now he has settled for sleeping on the couch as we don't let him live outside. :)
Welcome from UK :) :) :)
I hope you enjoy the forum as much as we all do :D
Glad you stopped back - don't wait so long next time! :D

Nice that you have 2 OES kids now.
Hi Lily, welcome from Calgary.

We get this all the time, some middle-aged person, all teary-eyed, going bonkers hugging our girls and telling us how their childhood sheepie was the best dog they have ever known and loved, and of course, now they have a doodle or a shih-tzu. :|
Bruuruu,
We frequent little mountain and occasionally kilcona. We have only met one other OES "Maddie" on Canada Day in LDB. I posted a picture of all three of them. The image was in our local paper- as I said our beasts always draw attention. I can't imagine our world without them.
