Kongs. And suitable filler for them.
Won't you need pee pads and things like that?
I'm not sure a puppy can hold it for 11 floors.
:wag: You need to make a speach or a poem
(four or five sentences is enough)
that you read or say to her everytime
before you feed her while she is sitting
in the front of the bowl looking you right in the eyes.

Then you and the puppy will have the best contact
already from the beginning and the rest of her life. :hearts:
When I was shopping for new puppy things for Murphy recently--I came across something that might be useful for you.

It was an indoor potty place for puppies that did not have quick and easy access to the outdoors. It was very different than the puppy pads as it was designed to teach them ultimately to potty outside. It had a grassy material inside and was a decent size (not like a litter pan-much larger) I have briefly searched today to try to find it again so you could go look at it- but haven't come across it again today.

I had not seen this before so it caught my attention even though I did not have a need for it.

I am limited on time today --but will look for it when I have a little more time.

I shopped so many places online that I will need to look back at my history to try to determine where it was. As you are shopping you might be on the look out for it.
sorry --don't know why it posted twice!
Batteries for your digital camera; make sure your ISP gets paid on time; extra storage capacity for your computer... See where I'm headed with this?

Definitely need to pay for a storage room to store the amount of paper towels you'll need.
arrrrggggg....i decided that im not going to do the pee pad thing...i dont want to start her out thinking that it is okay to pee inside....i have a feeling that i will be doing a lot of midnight elevator runs up and down for a while.....and yes, i will take lots and lots and lots of pics......
How about an airplane emergency shute???

Seriously, I kept Charm in her kennel downstairs from the beginning. I did sleep in the next room for a few nights, but after that, a baby monitor might be handy. Oh and treats, good girl treats~and pockets, lots of pockets for treats :D

So excited about your new baby :excited:
Yes, the breeder started Lady on pee pads before I got her. She peed on her blankets I gave her too sleep on when she came home. I think it really slowed the house training.
Non-edible chew toys (as much as they want to chew, the bully sticks etc. can cause digestive issues).

Squeaky toys.

Definitely kongs -- I stuff with their food so it takes longer to eat.

Name tag

Maybe a travel crate/kennel for in the car. Very hard to drive with a squirmy, chewing puppy at large. (Arizona may be too hot to leave her in the car - I just mean for trips to the vet, the store, places you will socialize her, etc.)

Re housebreaking -- something my trainer told me that really helped was that any time puppy freezes and looks lost or stops playing, scoop her up and get her outside to pee. Also any transition -- before coming in, before going in crate, as soon as she comes out of crate, etc. make sure she pees. At a minimum, assume she needs to go out every number of hours that equal how many months old she is (2 months = 2 hours). If you schedule it and pay attention to when she drinks (and somehow I think you will), you might be able to avoid the pee pads.

If not, then following up on Sheepiezone's suggestion, I saw this grassy potty area in a Drs. Foster and Smith catalog:

Our favorite toy is the orange food ball. Costs about $11, looks like a crater with weird edges.
Best thing ever in our home. At suppertime howie gets his food ball full of kibble. Away he goes while Mark and I enjoy our meal without a begging dog.

It is great if you have a puppy that wolfs down the food too fast, they are forced to eat at a slower rate.
I drilled a small hole opposite to the other hole. It helps the food fall out easier when they are just pups. May reduce any chance of suffocation too.

Oh isn't it fun to dream and plan for your new little one !
Lucky you!

Baby wipes, in bulk, for any accidents that might occur. Oh, and you might want to get an Auntie from Canada to come down there and help you....
