I'm just curious about which one is the alpha in your home. |

I don't have 2 sheepies but I do have a couple. Clyde pretty much calls the shots until something comes along that Lucy doesn't like or she wants more, then she immediately lets him know who's boss! I think now that she's getting older, she just enjoys being laid back until there's a need for her not to be. Not only that, I think she just wants to keep Clyde as calm as possible at all times because any altercation between the 2 of them always results in Clyde spazzing out for hours! |
Currently Remy calls the shots, but I think one day Tag will be boss. Altho my male cat Jake is the ultimate boss of the house over everyone including us... |
I doubt Tag will be boss, he won't likely be a big dog since he is a poodle cross, and usually the female is always dominant. |
In my house the boys flee in terror from Daisy. When she's in a bad mood EVERYONE knows it, Beau hobbles off as quickly as he can to hide. |
The rescue people had suggested that we look for an older female to put Carl in his place so I would say the females rule! |
It really depends with my 2 sheepies. They seem to both just be on even ground and then sometimes Annabelle will want the toy that Jack has, and will go over and quickly steal it, and then it is her toy. Sometime's that is reversed and Jack has to have what Annabelle has. Annabelle is protector of the kids. She has to have her eyes on them and be at their side, no matter what. If Jack gets to bouncy and rowdy with the kids, she tells him to cool it. Jack and Annie are only a few months apart, and have really grown up together, I can tell that they are very attached to each other, but both have bonded well with the family. A lot of people tried to warn us that they would be too bonded with each other and would form an attachment to us, but that has been very far from our case. I wouldn't hesitate again to get 2 puppies again. For the record though, Jack potty trained quickly, and was mostly trained at 4 months of age, I think he actually helped Annabelle to potty train.
Stormi and co. |
Patchapoozie rules. Oh, her mother Shayleigh may put up a snarl here and there but Patch ALWAYS gets her way in the end. Her brother Quincy doesn't even protest when she pulls off and chews up his collar (been through 6 nylon collars and now use a metal "choke chain" as his collar. |
Oh females definately rule in this house, 2 legged and 4 legged
Yep my sheepie girls even put there 2 legged brothers in their place and have my husband totally wrapped around their paws, his princesses can do no wrong in HIS eyes |
Well, I have Ben the Boy Sheepie and Kiara the Girl Mutt.....although Ben likes to think he rules......Kiara really does! Sounds like my marriage!!! |
