Where abouts are you in Denver? I'm north in Thornton/Westminster area, so mine - Dog & Butterfly Grooming - might not be convenient for you. One I can certainly cross of your list ... me. I'm on my third OES. First one I groomed completely on my own, second one was a rescue and would not let me bring a brush to her, so she was always groomed by professional. Just got Mo (3 yrs) a few months ago and he is very mellow and lets me brush him whenever/where ever, so I dug out the old clippers and ... somehow all clipping skills have deserted me and he looks a complete mess . I have to just swallow my pride and take him in. I cannot for the life of me remember clipping ever being so unsuccessful and just plain disasterous... oh well. Salla. |
Thanks for the response--we are are south Denver. Tubbs is fine with us brushing/bathing him, but we want to get him a summer cut and don't trust ourselves to wield the clippers. This will be his first haircut. I'm sure Mo looks much better than you think, and anyway, hair grows back! Katie |
I'm in Parker and I know that Gloria at Essential Pets grooms Old English Sheepdogs. When I was about to start fostering my girl, Ruby, I asked her how tough grooming was going to be. She mentioned that she has groomed 2 sheepdogs since puppyhood and never had to clip them down due to matting. Might want to try her. She grooms my persian cat... And she will be grooming Miss Ruby here soon. Hope this helps. |
