I bought a Chris Christensen Kool Dry. I'm sure I spent way too much but I like to see and try out what I buy and I got to do that today. I figure what I spent compared to what I pay the groomer everymonth or so I'll break even pretty quick. Can't wait to try it out. Maybe Mattie will get a bath tomorrow. Lisa Frankie and Mattie |

We paid for our dryer quite quickly when you consider how much you might spend on a groomer! |
A dryer is ALWAYS a good investment! Even with one dog, it pays off; once you get 2 or more, it's just good sense. Enjoy! |
Lisa, with two dogs you're going to be SOOOOO happy you bought this!!! My two girls love the attention and we love saving the money and time. Vance |
I LOVE my dryer! I bought a travel one for our trips to Florida with Oscar, as I never found a groomer I liked in the area, but I use it all the time. Oscar just lays down and goes to sleep. I wake him up and he flips over so I can dry the other side - he's snoozing again in no time. I can't believe I used to use a human blow dryer. Oscar is a big boy! It took FOREVER!!!!!!! Try dryer out in kitchen blowing out the dust bunnies under the refrig!! |
susan, there could be live critters under it. |
Exactly, those dust bunnies need their freedom! |

You folks are brilliant! I can't wait to go clean! |
is letting them air dry bad? I dont have a dryer and have never tried to blow dry Ryleigh, I just let her air dry. Is this bad for her? |
Dog hair takes awhile to really dry......folks in cold humid areas or those who don't tolerate wet dog smell well, like to hurry the process. Great for fluffing your dog. Texas dogs......naw, they are tough and don't need such silliness unless Momma wants it. |
It's good for cleaning the dust out of computers too! |
Dexter is a Texas dog in full coat. 3 towel dry and he still takes about a full day to completely air dry. The wet-damp hair tends to develop some ugly color and a sniffly dog. He and I are very glad we got a dryer. |
You will love it! In southern California I am often able to set up the grooming table and the dryer on the back patio. I think the time & money you save will amaze you. Linda Zimmerman |
You will wonder how you lived without it. |

Linda Zimmerman LeAnne is like you Linda - she always sets up outside with her grooming table and dryer! (weather permitting in MN, of course - we just have a shorter season. ) She has done that in both houses she's been at. She's in town too - so she attracts lots of attention. In fact that is how she met the couple that eventually ended up with Chewie and Martha's brother! (Will - the brother that Shari showed/finished for Marnie) They saw her grooming and stopped to talk with her. Turns out they brought all their previous dogs to a groomer friend of mine, and she worked in one of the schools I did nursing visits in and I already knew her...small world! |
...and if you have a pool, easier to bathe and blow out after their "splashes." Quote: You will love it! In southern California I am often able to set up the grooming table and the dryer on the back patio. susan (who dreams of a lap pool and dogs who like water) |
I love mine. It can can be powered by a small generator, which is why I bought it. And the variable speed is great and it's really easy to travel with. |
