I loved him and the Monkees. Cindy |
Oh I loved him! How sad. 66 is too young. |
I didn't go for the Monkees, but I'm sad he died. |
Davey Jones was "IT" in my day! So cute and The Monkey's were the biggest thing going! So sad to hear of Davey Jones sudden death...Rest in peace Davey. For teenage girls across America back in the day, you were everyone's biggest crush with your cute face and boyish smile....You brought us all so much joy...Sorry to see you gone so soon |
I was Mike Nesmith when we played the Monkees. Leslie was Mickey. We could always find someone to be Davy, but nobody ever wanted to be Peter. Do you think I liked the Monkees??? Every Monday night at 6:30 I was glued to the tv. I have The Monkees' Greatest Hits on casette. Daydream Believer is my fave Monkees song. Davy was a horseman. He rode steeplechase in his native England and remained involved with racehorses and rescues all his life. RIP Davy. |
Too young--so sad |
omg that is so sad! I LOVED the Monkees back in the day...played Daydream Believer over and over again till my mom begged me to stop! 66 is way too young. RIP Davey Jones. |
I remember hearing the first Monkees song and thinking how fresh it sounded after years of the Beatles. Mickey was my favorite because everyone else loved Davy. It felt like he was "all mine" Last train to Clarksville, RIP Davy. |
