Frankie has a vet appt tomorrow

Frankie has had a growth on his back leg for at least a year now. The vet said it was a sebaceous gland cyst (and I'm sure I spelled it wrong) and not to worry. He measured it the last time we were in so we had something to go by. Frankies PT thinks it's changing and wants us to get it checked out.

So off we go to the vet tomorrow. I'm not sure what they will do, hopefully just a needle pick.

I'll update tomorrow.

Good luck tomorrow Frankie-
Hope it all goes well!
Good luck today! :crossed: :crossed:
Good luck with Frankie's appt tomorrow.

If it helps at all, Oscar seems to grow lumps and bumps by the day. We have had many, many growths removed when he goes under for teeth cleanings every year, and they've all been benign - histiocytomas, granulomas, sebaceous cysts, and hemangiomas, just to name a few. 8O I used to freak out over them, but by the time we reached double-digits, I had to stop, or lose my mind.

Hopefully, a needle aspiration will do the trick.

Frankies appt went well. The vet isn't concerned. He feels if he lances it, it could cause us a problem if Frankie doesn't leave it alone. When we go in for teeth cleaning this spring or summer they will remove it then.
We also got some meds for Frankies ears. The vet looked in them and they are not red in the canal so it's just from me plucking them.

Thanks for everyones concern.

Keep an eye on cysts.....I've detailed Glacier's trails with them. Both Jack and MO are cysty creatures, but unlike Laurie, I'm not on spelling terms with them all

8O I'm not playing Scrabble with you!
Happy for the good news! :clappurple:
:D Love that it was good news!
Yay for Frankie!
 Yes, I have become a walking medical dictionary with all of Oscar's issues. :D And I have been known to rock a Scrabble board every now and again. 8)

Glad Frankie's appt went well. Unless a lump looks or feels weird to my vet, we also wait to take them off. Fortunately, we have thus far avoided the exploding kind that Susan is so fond of with her Pyrs.
