Every time I bathe Zoey, I take her outside to wee. The first couple times I made the mistake of just opening the door and letting her out. This last time, I walked her out on a lead because the first couple of times, she ran straight into the long field grass and started foraging her head into the roots. Her pretty white head came up all black. I was SOOOOO mad. As for the squatting thing... Our Bentley was pretty good at missing his feet and he ALWAYS squatted. We never saw him even to attempt to lift. Vance |
Must be the name. Out 14 month old Bentley is a squatter too. If you like to keep them in a full coat it is almost better I think than having a leg lifter that has to mark their territory every two steps. I thought I wanted a leg lifter until people on the forum said to be happy with a squatter. When they lift they often end up peeing on their underside coat. I leave a little bit of hair about 1/2 inch on the upper side of his penis. This seems to make the stream aim downward. I need to keep the area clean and use wipe for that. It works. Good luck. |
Hate to tell you but my first OES, male, neutered, lived to be almost 15 years...NEVER lifted his leg! Always squatted to pee! The dark face, well, I think we all struggle with that. Mine can be fresh out of the groomer and yet, that dirty beard is there! Can I assume since you say Bloo just got a bath, you met up with the ladies on the forum and they helped you de mat him? |
She did Diane and we're all waiting for some photos. Sam said Bloo needs some touch-up, then photos. We'll wait... Vance |
patience ... yep we met up with slavetothebrush. |
Sam, what's the word that starts with a 'p' in your last post? Is that some kind of British slang? I'm not familiar with that word... Vance |
