I have no idea, I'd like to try it with Butchy too but as far as I can tell there's no where up here in NE Wi to do it. |
Kristine should know. She knows Chris Lawrenz who does a lot of herding. They both live in Wisconsin. |
Yes, but I'm not sure up their way. Camp Bandy, maybe, Amherst Junction - http://www.campbandy.com/about/ Or maybe, if you don't mind travelling, it's time for the SE WI OES Club to sponsor another herding clinic at Magic's Legacy Genoa City, WI (right on the IL border...) By the way, the 2012 OESCA national specialty is being held in West Bend, WI in September this year. Herding (including instinct) testing AND trial classes at Magic's legacy. See http://www.oldenglishsheepdogclubofamer ... tional.php for more information in case you're interested in attending any (or all ) part(s) of it. Kristine |
Amherst Junction is a 50-60 mile drive from here and have been through there. I went online and there is a person in Portage that does training, but it looks more the cattledogs, Australian shepherds, etc....I may contact him just to see what he says. The 2012 OESCA sounds like an interesting event to go to. Will have to put it on my calendar so I don't forget. |
