Last Thursday our dog walker stopped by to watch us in class. She stayed behind the gate, and Frankie had no idea she was there until he did jump and saw her off he went to the gate, and tried to pull it open with his paw. The trainer was surprised at how smart he was . Our dog walker was pretty amazed at what Frankie could do. She did say that he would never win any speed records. Which is very true as of right now. We are just learning the equipment right now hopefully speed will come later. I am so happy with what we have accomplished so far. This is the dog that at 6 mos of age our vet (which we no longer see) told me I would have to put Frankie down due to his bad hips by the time he was 2 years old. He will be 3 in April. So I'm really happy with what we are doing. I'll have another video on the last week of class. (2 weeks) Thanks for everyone that shared thier agility experience, it sparked my interest in the sport. Hooray Lisa! So glad Frankie is doing so well in agility! Would love to see more video! |
Yep, it is rather addicting! I'm so happy you and Frankie are having fun, but even better it's learning in disguise, so it is a total win:win situation!! |
