The bad and ugly
He and Biscuit ran around, but also went down by the lake and into the brush and weeds. Chewie found the burrs  Here's the result....  After a lot of combing, picking and then brushing, he was burr-free! Of course as long as I had him up on the table, I stripped at his over hairy neck, chest and shoulders (too bushy means his harness for sledding doesn't fit properly)  and all pigtailed up!  and per a previous talk here about rubber bands - this is what I have now - they are a small, polyband -  |

Glad to know SuperDog is just a dog after all....complete with.......faults.....or foibles. he's adorable all burred up and just as lovely brushed brushed.  He was probably trying to get away from Bond.......... |

We use similar hair ties. Originally intended for Melissa but now used to torture Izzie and Taylor. Or that seems to be their view   Also have experienced the attack of the burr face monster....only when ours are on leash  They always manage to stick their head in the one bush on the path with burrs  Chewie looks so handsome before and after his cleanup |

| Good try ...but Chewie was in the dog house. Mostly because he turned a deaf ear, not the fact that he got the burrs in himself. He so rarely does this...I told Todd it's probably the 2nd time in his life I've ever yelled at him.  And he knew he was a naughty boy...but now all's well and he's back to his usual good self. |

How could the puppy ever live up to Chewie if he was perfect ALL the time? Not fair to the puppy. Kristine |
