Sounds perfect to me! Cindy |
That would be waaaay too hot for me! 50s(F) at night, 60-68 during the day, nice big puffy clouds, rain during the night and on days I DONT have an outdoor show The light breeze sounds nice...I think Id like my daylight to run 6AM-11PM |
Perfect temp for me is around 85F i lovee to swim, so need it very warm. Sunny days with a nice gentle breeze. Rain twice a week and maybe every once in a while a storm shower during the day, ligtening is so beautiful to watch. I'm lucky because I pretty much live in my ideal weather here in Florida...Summer all year long. I some times forget what month it is and am surprised it is January. |
I'm with Laurel. The temps in the high 60s is just warm enough to not need long sleeves if you keep moving but cool enough to not break a big sweat if you move too much. Also, being a car guy, those temps usually have great lower humidity and that makes high performance cars run waaaaaay better! And the dogs dig the cool air too. Vance |
I couldn't have just one perfect day. I do love a crisp Canadian autumn day. On the other hand, that first big melt of spring makes you feel giddy. And there is nothing more fun than romping in the snow at around -8C, with big fat snowflakes falling. Summer, well, not so much a fan of hot and humid, so we will just skip that season. |
High 60's to low 70's with NO humidity! I think that is why everyone loves Southern California...that is my perfect weather! I loved it there However, gotta make a trade with smog and earthquakes, so I guess there is always something |

50-55 - Light Breeze- Slightly Overcast. I guess Fall weather year round? But I do love my gardening... so I need sunshine and warm for that. And I love snow... Humm... maybe Ohio weather? Bat your eyes and it changes here. So I guess I am where I need to be? BUT we have lots of humidity in the summer... Oh--now I can't decide. Wish I had the money to travel to the weather that suits my mood of the day. |
u.s. virgin islands, tends to rain at night. temps are close. |
I think we need an oes.org timeshare in Key West, Florida. Members, Old English Sheepdogs and their + 1's welcome! Other dogs and cats and non-members may be charged a cleaning fee. |

I'll like really dry and arid places, deserts actually. They always appeal to me, rocky craggy kind of places. One reason I'd like to visit New Mexico. I loved Morocco, zero humidity, zero flying bugs (mosquitos etc), dry and ranging from warm to hot. |
60-65 during the day, partly cloudy, very slight breeze. There would be enough sun that sunglasses are needed. Night time temps chilly enough to need a sweatshirt. Daylight between 6am and 8pm. I would like a gentle rain once or twice during the week, at night. There should be about 3 weeks of perfect autumn weather like we had in northern Illinois in 2011. There can be a few days of cold during the winter, enough to lay the germs but not enough to cause damage to pipes. Snow is o.k. as long as it falls at night and only in the horses' paddocks. |
I love really cold snowy winters and lovely hot summers with low humidity. But living in Britain no chance of either |
I like the variety of seasons.....but if I could skip MUD I would be so grateful!! |
This post cracks me up, as it reminds me so much of the kind of conversations my "co workers" and I have at outdoor art fairs "Perfect" fair weather gets endlessly debated, with some people wanting clear warm sunny days, while others insist that a bit of coolness and even a touch of rain will bring out more customers. This is actually true, as TOO nice of a weekend sends everybody fishing instead ! Folks who sell things like fleece jackets or sweaters annoy the rest of us by wishing for cold and rain, while those of us with super water sensitive products whine about any degree of dampness . The hilarious thing of course is...its not as if all this debating, wishing and whining is going to have any *influence* on the weather...but we all do it constantly anyway |
i think southern cali has the best weather in September...day temp around 72-79..evenings with a breeze 65....cool enough to snuggle with a sheepie...but not too cold if you have to get up and go potty..... |
I love the seasons especially fall but I don't like temps over 75, high humidity and extremely cold weather. In 80's I had the chance to go with Carl to Ventura, CA, the weather was out of this world. Of course I was only there one day but the motel did not have nor need air-conditioning. |

But living in Britain no chance of either Erm in the UK it'd be wrong no matter what the weather is doing. I actually got sunburnt at Easter last year(april) camping in St Ives, had an Ozzy friend of the Family complaining it was to hot when we lived in Elgin Scotland when he came over for a visit (he'd brought loads of cold weather clothing), when my wifes father and her step mother came over to the UK from Wilmington NC the one year, we had wall to wall sunshine from April till Oct (they were expecting it to be raining ALL the time) - people were grumbling because of hose pipe bans! I like the cold, I like the heat, I like snow I like rain, I like fog, I like the change in the weather. When I worked in Saudi it was Boring.. every day it was 25ºC at 5 am and 52ºC at midday - every day I never saw a cloud, oh yes clear blue skies (apart from the dust in your eyes) I longed to see a fluffy cloud. Possibly one of the reasons I like NZ so much the weather is as changable as it is in the UK. Funny thing is the first time we went to Oz to stay with my wifes sister south of Sydney it rained stair rods for four days soild of the five we were there, quite odd considering Oz My perfect weather would be unpredictable, it makes you enjoy the nice days that much more. |
