HOWEVER!! This week we got moved into the main agility class!! We arust starting out so all we did was the tunnel 4 times, the send away around the cone and the target pad. Tunnel: He wasnt very sure at first but eventually he went through all by himself!! The lady said its harder for big dogs as they have to crouch to get through the tunnel.. more effort. Cone: Have to guide him around the cone, to make him learn to send away to run around the obstacle. Target pad: A pringle lid, a biscuit lid, anything big enough to put treats onto. Have to put treat on the lid, then make him look at you then he looks at target reward, always reward on target. This is to learn him to stop at the end of the agility course when we progress that far lol WE LOVE IT, only just started and its started wobbly, bloo doesnt like the tunnel but he will get used to it i suppose!! Its a great hour to pass!! |
