were the first to use their self-bathing station. It was GREAT! I used their shampoos, towels and dryer - all for $15. And the groomer helped give me some tips and helped me cut C's nails too! PLUS we stood in line for an hour so we could get a goodie bag (filled with treats for a month... yummy stuff!) so we met LOTS of people and LOTS of different types of dogs all ages and sizes. Cambridge, as always, AMAZED me with his behavior. He was SOOO sweet and gentle with everyone. I did find out he doesn't like yappy high pitched barks, he sort of takes a step back and gives a look like "really? WHY must you make that noise?!" If a dog was NOT nice while greeting C would take a step or two back and sit and just look at me, like WHAT is that dog's issue? I DON'T behave like THAT! Everyone agreed he would make a great therapy dog. Anyway- they have a loyalty program there, so will probably use them for dog food delivery instead of my current company. It's WAY cute in there, and owned by 2 sisters. It's a little drive for me, but I will probably go there once a month for baths, when I don't feel like making a mess at my place. Sheepies do take a LONG time to bathe and dry, as you all know, so don't know if it's going to be a good idea to go there... will have to pick NOT busy times!!! I know C isn't from a top of the line breeder. She isn't even on this forum! gasp!!! And I found them on puppy find but I ADORE C and his personality. it's amazing to me everytime I go out. no one can believe he is a puppy he is so calm and patient. anyway- had to share. I love these good experiences he has been having. So glad to finally have the perfect dog. It's been a LONG road getting to here. oh, and btw- it's like 22 degrees here!!! COLD!!!!! |

Sounds like a wonderful place! Nice that it was a great outing for Cambridge. |
It will be interesting to see if Cooper remembers the place the next time you go there, since it was such a positive experience for him. What a good boy. |
Wow, we are still warmer than you guys! It's 31F here in MN at almost 9pm. It's good you found a fun place to go with Cambridge. And even better he was such a good boy . I love being able to go to The Paw and wash Chewie there. I still do spot baths at home, but it's worth my time (and back!) to go in and use the raised tubs, and then the blaster dryer to get the bulk of the moisture out. Then we can go home (10 minutes) and use the table and stand dryer for the rest. Now, I can only wish for food delivery..... |
